For those of you following the blog for lent, let me offer my sincere apologies for the disruption in posts the last week or so. Jeff and I were traveling out of the country, and although we had been assured that it would be no problem hooking up and posting and connecting to wifi.... well, things don't always go according to plan.
Although that's not me in the picture above, it is an accurate representation of me the first few days. After that, I just had to let it go and remind myself that God is still in control and the fate of the free world does not rest on the postings of my blog. What a relief!
Several lessons learned from this trip, not the least of which is to have everything done ahead of time and scheduled for automatic posting. Life is so much easier when you're ahead of the game!
Anyway, I do apologize, and will be back on track tomorrow with devotions for lent. Hope to see you there and hear what God is doing in your life.
I hope all is well with you and so appreciate your visits here. I pray that God uses them to bless you right where you need it the most!
